There's a commonly-held belief that senior citizens are the only men that have to worry about low testosterone. After all, a man in his 40s or 50s is still supposed to be strong, confident, and virile, right? Research from the Cleveland Clinic shows that, globally, nearly 8% of all men suffer from low levels of testosterone. That's a huge number - and many of those men haven't seen the "wrong side" of 50 yet.
The truth is, you don't have to be a brittle old man a decade into retirement to experience low testosterone. Because, in reality, male testosterone levels can begin to fall in your 30s. And when that happens, a man's life can change drastically. Finding the motivation to attack the day, work hard, and come home happy is more difficult. Going to the gym to get a full session of cardio in? Not with the kink in your neck that's been bothering you for days.
For some men with low testosterone, the ultimate embarrassment happens - they can't light that spark and perform in the bedroom like they used to. If you're one of the millions of men slogging through life and the symptoms of low T, you may think there's no going back to the old you. But nothing could be further from the truth. Male health centers like Rank One Medical are ready to treat you with an FDA-approved procedure that rebalances your hormones and helps re-capture your youth.
It's called testosterone replacement therapy, and it's giving men around the U.S. renewed hope and a new lease on life. Unlike other male hormone clinics, however, Rank One Medical provides patients with an all-inclusive approach to TRT in Sapulpa, OK, so you can get relief ASAP.

To understand the amazing benefits of taking TRT, it's important to grasp what testosterone is and its role in your body.
When you hear the word testosterone, what comes to mind? Many folks think of a large, muscle-bound man who is too aggressive and macho. Of course, that stereotype is untrue. Testosterone plays a role in a man's motivation and vigor, but it does much more than that. The truth is that testosterone is crucial for the male body because it affects development from puberty through old age.
As your primary androgen, testosterone helps develop the characteristics that make you the man you are. Controlled by your pituitary gland and your hypothalamus, testosterone helps maintain and develop:
Unfortunately, when your body suffers from low testosterone (also called hypogonadism), you'll start to notice concerning symptoms that affect every aspect of your life.
This is a question we get all the time at Rank One Medical. Though the true answer is nuanced, the bottom line is that aging is most often the reason for low T. Every man who ages will most likely have lower testosterone than younger men. Other causes of low testosterone include prescribed medications, drug abuse, injuries, and obesity.
When you lose large amounts of testosterone, it alters your testosterone and estrogen. Low T levels usually result in more abdominal fat, which in turn causes estrogen synthetase levels to jump. This creates even higher levels of estrogen in your body. With more estrogen and less testosterone, several concerning issues manifest.
Some of the most common symptoms associated with low testosterone include:
If you're a man struggling with just one of the symptoms above, it could be because you have low testosterone. However, the only way to be certain is to have your testosterone levels tested. If your testosterone levels are low for a man of your age, TRT in Sapulpa, OK, may be the next logical step.
Have you noticed that you don't feel like "you" when you're working or relaxing at home? Do you always feel lethargic or unmotivated, even on your days off? Do you find it challenging to maintain an erection? Many men mistake these symptoms for being overworked or over-busy. Truthfully, though, there's a good chance these are symptoms of low testosterone. Since no two males have the same symptoms of low testosterone, it's prudent to understand and recognize some of the most common signs.
When you have low T, it's not unusual for sex to be unappealing. Crazy, right? If you're one of the thousands of men in the United States suffering from a low sex drive, it might not be you. It could be low testosterone. Don't settle for a mediocre libido - reclaim your sex life with Rank One Medical.
Also called ED, these are two words that every man hopes to avoid. When you're unable to perform in the bedroom, it's not just embarrassing - it can also affect your long-term relationships and even your mental health. ED is a challenging topic to talk about. But it doesn't have to be. TRT in Sapulpa, OK can help re-light that special spark you've been missing for so long.
Your brain has many testosterone receptors. However, when you're suffering from low testosterone, it can affect your mood. With time, those feelings can lead to serious psychological issues like depression. However, studies show that TRT can help rebalance your hormones, which can lead to improved mood and a life without depression.
When you work hard all day, most men want to come home, eat some dinner, and try to go to sleep. Unfortunately, men with low testosterone tend to toss and turn, even when they're exhausted. Whether you have undiagnosed insomnia or a different sleep disorder, low T could be the culprit.
When testosterone levels lower as we get older, men have a harder time lifting heavy items. That's true even if you're hitting the gym and lifting weights to maintain your muscles. If you're making a concerted effort to keep your muscle mass and strength but aren't making gains, it could be due to low testosterone.
Do you find it extra challenging to finish normal tasks at work? Do you believe your memory is getting worse? Does your spouse or partner yell about not paying attention to them? Trust us; we've been there. The effects of low testosterone don't just affect your body - they can also affect your mind and memory. When TRT brings your testosterone levels back within normal range, brain fog and other concentration issues will often go away.
At Rank One Medical, we understand what men go through every day when living with low testosterone. They suffer from low libido, lack of motivation, and often feel abnormal and out of place. But as bad as those are, living with low testosterone can have more severe health risks that put your vital organs at risk.
Some of the health risks you should be concerned with include the following:
When you're diagnosed with pre-diabetes or diabetes, you may be wondering why. Sometimes, the culprit is having low T. Statistically, men with low testosterone have a higher chance of getting diabetes as they age. In the same vein of thought, men with diabetes are also much more likely to have low T. This fact establishes a relationship between testosterone and diabetes. This relationship is furthered by the fact that men with low testosterone have more challenges resisting insulin. Though TRT in Sapulpa, OK won't cure your diabetes, research shows that men with healthy testosterone levels also have healthier blood sugar levels and are usually not as obese.
Have you been told by your primary care doctor that you have high blood pressure? Do you have an idea what may be causing your high blood pressure? Is it aging? Is it hereditary? Is it something else?
According to research, men with low testosterone have higher chances of suffering from cardiovascular illnesses. Because, when your testosterone levels are low, red blood cell reproduction slows. That, in turn, causes plaque buildup in your arteries. With time, plaque buildup can cause life-threatening issues like heart attacks or strokes.
If you look in the mirror in the morning and are disgusted with how fat you've gotten, you're not alone. Many aging men have problems with obesity. If you eat well and exercise like you should but still can't shed embarrassing body fat, low T could be the cause.
Research shows a link between obesity and low T, with testosterone playing an essential role in food metabolism. It's also involved with insulin, glucose, and fat regulation. Thankfully, when combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise, men who use TRT often lose weight and benefit from better blood glucose and low-density cholesterol levels.
When a man has anemia, his body lacks much-needed blood cells, meaning organs have less oxygen to properly function. Normal testosterone levels have been linked to healthy red blood cell counts, so it makes sense that men with low T are at risk of anemia. In fact, a study conducted in 2009 found that aging men with low testosterone were five times more likely to have anemia versus men with healthy testosterone. TRT isn't a cure for anemia, but with healthier levels of testosterone, your body will produce more red blood cells, which can prevent anemia.
Up to this point, we've explained some of the revolutionary benefits of TRT but haven't dug into how it works. TRT does exactly what its name implies: it's a therapy backed by science that replaces low T levels in men.
Also called androgen replacement therapy, TRT is a form of hormone replacement therapy for men that helps them deal with and triumph over the debilitating side effects associated with low testosterone. Originally created by scientists in the 1930s, TRT has grown from a little-known treatment to a life-changing solution for millions of men worldwide.
Without boring you with facts and scientific speak, TRT gives your body the testosterone it needs to function properly. Without healthy T levels, your body isn't able to maintain the natural processes it needs for your well-being. As a matter of fact, men with low T are more likely to develop serious health problems like heart disease and type-2 diabetes. Until their testosterone levels are restored, most men suffer from the symptoms of low testosterone without hormone replacement therapy like TRT.
With TRT from Rank One Medical, your hormones are rebalanced so your body can finally begin to heal, relieving and even eliminating many of the most common signs of low testosterone.
Unlike some TRT clinics, Rank One Medical takes a comprehensive, careful approach to testosterone replacement therapy. To ensure our patients get the best results in the most efficient time frames, we have developed a 10-step physician-prescribed plan for TRT in Sapulpa, OK.

SAPULPA, Okla. — Some Sapulpa residents are saying they aren't getting their mail, a problem that has been apparently going on for months.
FOX23 visited the U.S. Post Office in Sapulpa in an effort to get an interview with the postmaster, but he said he is not allowed to talk to the media, but both the postmaster and another employee said they hadn't heard of any complaints of missing mail.
For more than a year, neighbors on Mesa Road in Sapulpa said they have not received all of their mail, and often, they have received other people's mail instead.
They also said they have notified the postmaster of this issue.
Ruby Kirkmisner takes it upon herself to deliver the mail that incorrectly comes to her door.
"Rochelle Pearce and some down here, and some went to the Watahsies here, and some mail that went to the McDaniels up there," Kirkmisner said. "I just go.. I have the time. I'm retired so I just walk and put it wherever it belongs. It's better than sending it back and having it be delayed."
Tim McDaniel said he does the same thing.
"My mail was coming in, except it wasn't my mail. I should say, it was other people's mail that would either be on somebody else's, not even my street. Completely different street. Obviously completely different address," McDaniel said.
Gary Phillips said he is concerned about elderly neighbors.
"She has to take her car from the garage up to the mailbox and come down because she can't walk up the hill, and there's five families or five individuals like that in this short little neighborhood," Phillips said. "So, it's a big deal to them to get the wrong mail. Plus, you know, your credit card statements, bank statements, checks."
Phillips said he got a note in his mailbox from the postmaster, asking for people to alert him of mail that was delivered to the wrong home.
FOX23 called the number on the note and spoke with the postmaster. After a short discussion on further clarification over the missing and misplaced mail, the postmaster hung up.
The postmaster said he would give the number of a regional spokesperson, but hung up before giving the number.

SAPULPA, Okla. -
People in Sapulpa are working to draw more people in to celebrate the holiday season.
In downtown, you’ll find Okie Igloo Village. Amy Barnes is the co-founder of this unique winter experience. She is the owner of Okie Kidz Inflatables.
“We were just wanting to start a family tradition, something you couldn’t buy from the store, something outside the box that you can bring your family to,” Barnes said.
The outdoor venue built in the heart of downtown along Route 66 is designed to bring both families and friends together for a night under the lights, basking in the joy of Christmas.
The igloos are heated so people can sit in them comfortably for hours at a time.
There are a variety of activities to enjoy, including roasting smores by the fireplace, playing board games, and enjoying sweet treats. You can even find snow.
Sasha Messerschmidt lives in Sapulpa. For her, time spent with family is something she will always treasure.
“It gives family a chance to get out and see everything Sapulpa has to offer and shop the little downtown and shop small,” Messerschmidt said.
This is the first year for Okie Igloo Village, but the idea started in 2020.
During the height of the pandemic, Barnes set up the igloo villages privately in people’s homes. She said it means so much now being able to offer this to the entire community.
“When COVID shut down the party rental business, we were trying to think outside the box of something we could still do to bring fun to families because that is our goal, so we came up with our Okie Igloo,” Barnes said.
Barnes has high hopes for the Okie Igloo Village’s expansion in the future. “We’re even hoping to have some special guests maybe like Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Noise Reindeer, maybe a movie on the lawn anything we can do to bring joy to kids.”
The Okie Igloos are open everyday until December 31, by reservation only.

People usually cruise down Route 66 in their cars, but this holiday season, a segment of the highway is seeing visitors walking down it—all thanks to thousands of brightly hued Christmas decorations.
The Route 66 Christmas Chute in downtown Sapulpa, Oklahoma, features more than 20,000 square feet of decorations and more than 35,000 feet of Christmas lights. The display is broken down into 10 different chutes with different themes: everything from Candy Land to Santa Claus to a patriotic theme, said Will Berry, one of the organizers of the holiday themed display.
The idea for the Christmas Chute has been two years in the making, Berry said, after organizers thought about what brought people to Sapulpa, located about 20 minutes from downtown Tulsa. A local company has held a holiday lighting event and it drew visitors in years past.
“So the idea was, well, let's parlay that light show and do something downtown to get people into our town. And so that's how the idea was formed,” Berry said.
The original idea involved a holiday themed tunnel, but fire codes prevented that from happening, so a Christmas Chute came to mind.
“It’s a walkable Christmas experience,” he added. “People spend a lot of time just literally looking at and admiring all the decorations because a lot of them are handmade.”
Another thing Berry is proud of is that the display, which has been operational since the beginning of November, was completely community-driven and privately fundraised. The organizers raised around $800,000 for the project, he said.
Twenty captains and their teams put the displays together. One team member of the ‘Let It Snow’ themed chute said she hopes it leaves a lasting impression for people.
"I hope the Christmas Chute creates new family traditions for people, and that Sapulpa will become a part of that for them. It's a really great opportunity to show off our town and tell our story," said Rebecca LaFevers in a statement.
Berry agreed. He said it’s important for the community to brand itself. There are a lot of communities around Tulsa that don’t designate themselves, but Sapulpa is a bit isolated from Tulsa and wanted to stand out, he said.
“We're wanting people to notice,” Berry said. “And I think it was important for us to be totally different. There's nothing like this around. And now we're finally on the map, if you will, by people saying, ‘Oh, my God, you got to go to Sapulpa to see the Christmas Chute.’”

SAPULPA, Okla. — The town of Sapulpa has something big to celebrate this weekend.
Flyers are posted all around town, so if you live, work, or visit downtown Sapulpa, we would hope you know what the big celebration this weekend is, but if you don’t... the town of Sapulpa is turning 125 years old!
Starting Friday night and happening all day Saturday, downtown Sapulpa will be filled with community members celebrating the town's birthday.
Joe Krout with Sapulpa Main Street tells me the town hasn’t always celebrated its birthday, but this one is an important one.
“When you get to 125, that’s a milestone because the town is in a renaissance. With the Christmas chute and all the excitement that surrounded that we have new interest in Sapulpa,” Krout said.
And the Sapulpa Main Street organization couldn’t pass up celebrating.
The organization hopes this event keeps that momentum and excitement going.
“When the folks show up for the birthday bash, what I really hope they get out of attending is that they see what a vibrant community Sapulpa is," Krout said. "It has been here a long time and that you know we are looking forward to the next 125 years and seeing how this renaissance that we are going through how that expands.”
Friday, the events start at 6 p.m. in Martha’s Corner with a proclamation, cake, and music.
Then Saturday, Dewey street, also known as Historic Route 66, will be closed in downtown starting at 6 a.m. for a full street festival.
The event Saturday will start at 10 a.m., where they will have over 35 vendors set up, a petting zoo, pony rides, gun fighting exhibits, fundraisers, food trucks, and bands performing.
The family-friendly celebrations wrap up around nine at night both days. Anyone from Sapulpa and the surrounding communities are welcome and encouraged to come.
Krout expects a few thousand people to attend. More importantly, he said he hopes the turnout is big to show proof that these celebrations should become an annual event.

The treehouse at Dad’s Place in Sapulpa is all finished and it’s a big hit with the kids.
“It’s always fun. We always want to come down here. The little kids love it. There’s going to be a lot of tag out here and hide-and-go-seek and stuff,” said Hope Harrelson, the founder’s daughter.
The treehouse features swings, a slide and a climbing wall.
It was made possible by Red Crown Credit Union, Bearded Brothers Woodworks and Lowe’s.
Jeremy Daggs with Red Crown Credit Union said they believe in helping kids in the community.
“They are going to be running this world when you and I are no longer here. So, they need to be brought up in a loving and caring place,” said Daggs.
The treehouse will also be a place where prospective parents can spend time playing with and getting to know the kids who need them.
Dad’s Place held a special event to dedicate the treehouse and raise awareness.
David Harrelson founded Dad’s Place to give kids in the foster care system a safe fun place to live while waiting for their forever homes.
“There’s 7,000 kids in the State of Oklahoma that really need forever homes,” said Harrelson.
Harrelson said he is worried about kids aging out of the foster care system without being adopted.
“These kids, we don’t want them to age out without a family. They need a place to go for Thanksgiving, for Christmas, to celebrate birthdays,” he said.
Harrelson’s daughter, Hope, was 4-and-a-half when she was placed in foster care.
She told FOX23 about her sister’s struggle.
“My older sister, she was put in foster care, and she was in and out of homes, and eventually she grew out. And, right now she has a 2-year-old son. I feel like with somebody taking a kid out their rough situations and bringing them into a home that actually loves them. It helps a lot and reassures them,” said Hope.
Harrelson and his wife adopted Hope, saving her from a life of constantly moving and eventually aging out.
Hope said finding her forever family meant the world to her.
